Shams: Wizards signed back to Bagley for one year, the player was traded to the Grizzlies midway last season
According to a report released by famous reporter Shams, a source revealed to ESPN that free agent Bagley has agreed to sign a one-year contract with the Washington Wizards. Bagley, who was once a Wizards in the 2024-25 season, was then traded to the Memphis Grizzlies before the February trade deadline, and now he will return to the Wizards.
Bagley was selected as the second place in the 2018 NBA Draft after a great season at Duke. He has played for the Sacramento Kings, the Detroit Pistons, the Washington Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies for seven seasons. In 289 games, he averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, shooting 51.8% from the field and 29.0% from three-pointers.
Last season, Bagley played 31 games, averaging 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, and shot 51.9%.
