May 23rd NBA officially announced the best defensive team of this season, and Rockets player Amen Thompson was selected for the best defensive team. According to statistics, Amen Thompson is the ninth player in NBA history to be selected as the best defensive team in the first two seasons of his career. Other players include Walter Fraser (1968-69), Don Booth and Bobby Jones (1967-77, 1977-78), Michael Ray Richardson (1980-81), David Robinson (1990-91), Tim Duncan (1998-99), Mobley (2022-23) and Vampang Yama (2023-24).
