Lakers sign contract with the son of Matthew Leonis, the "Father of European Steps"
Today, the NBA second round draft just ended. At this point, the 2025 draft has all ended. ESPN reporter Jonathan Givoni reported: "St. Mary's point guard Augustus Matthew Leonis will sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The two-time Western Conference Player of the Year missed pre-draft preparations due to a foot injury, but will recover at the end of July. He is the son of Hall of Famer Sarunas Matthew Leonis."
