Lillard is severing $22.5 million, so the Bucks can no longer use extended terms this season
According to previous news, the Bucks cut Damian Lillard and deferred his remaining $113 million in salary.
In response to this, salary expert Yossi Gozlan said: The Bucks will no longer be able to use extended terms for other players this season, and it will be difficult for them to share more salary through this clause in the coming season.
According to regulations, the total salary paid by the team through extended terms shall not exceed 15% of the salary cap for that season. The $22.5 million Lillard, who was cut by the Bucks using the extension clause, has reached 14.5% of the salary cap.
