Pelicans choose Jeremiah Fels in the 7th pick

Pelicans selected Jeremiah Fells, a freshman from the University of Oklahoma.

Fels is 1.91 meters tall and plays as a defender. He averaged 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals in college, and is an all-round wing. But the characteristics of entering the NBA Fells are not outstanding. He is not a natural point guard, but he can also develop offenses for himself and his teammates. Fells is good at cutting and fast breaks, and is good at making fouls. CNR and ball-holding jump shots are also reliable. But shooting needs to be more stable, especially fixed-point shooting.
