Brown posted pictures to report safety after surgery on his right knee! Salary of 53 million next season: The Celtics are willing to listen to the relevant quotations

On June 12, Celtics star Jaylen Brown successfully underwent arthroscopic debridement surgery on his right knee and is expected to recover before the start of the new season training camp and participate in the training camp without any restrictions. The Celtics said Brown underwent minimally invasive surgery to clean up the knee joint. Later, Jaylen Brown posted photos of himself after the operation on social media to report his safety, with his knees wrapped in thick bandages.

Previously, sources revealed to ESPN in May that Brown had partially torn his meniscus on his right knee at the end of the season. He played with injuries in the last month of the regular season and during the playoffs. Sources said Brown has been receiving knee pain injections since March.

Jaylen Brown played 63 regular season games this season, averaging 34.2 minutes per game, scoring 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals, shooting percentage of 46.3% and three-point shooting percentage of 32.4%; in 11 playoffs, averaging 36.5 minutes per game, scoring 22.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists, shooting percentage of 44.1% and three-point shooting percentage of 33.3%.

Brown's importance will become increasingly prominent as his partner Tatum is expected to miss most of the 2025-26 season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon (the injury caused his playoff reimbursement and also shattered the hope of defending the Celtics' champion).

Brown's salary in the 2025-26 season was $53 million, the second season of his five-year, $304 million contract - the largest contract record in the NBA history when it signed. However, the latest reports say that although the Celtics did not peddled Brown, they were willing to hear quotes about him.
