Bellin: Real Madrid s attack will be much easier with Mbappe; my goal was not a matter of luck
Hupu, October 27th Jude Bellingham contributed a goal and an assist in Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Barcelona. He was delighted to turn the tide against Barcelona, as they lost all four El Clasicos last season. "This is a very important victory for us. We are very happy. We have lost to them for a long time and today is a good day for all of us. Everyone has put in a great effort and we deserve these three points." He commented on Real Madrid TV. "In the first half, we were very decisive in controlling the ball and shooting well. In the second half, our defense was very good. Militao, Huizen, Fede, Carreras, and Carvajal who came on the bench all performed very well... The whole team performed well." The England player talked about his turn-around pass assist for Mbappe and his second goal for Real Madrid. "Barcelona were pressing high and we had Kylian Mbappe; with him it was much easier to attack. So I turned around and passed the ball. It was simple. A lot of people say it was luck, but for me it was my understanding of the game: knowing where the ball is going, being in position and being ready for the ball to come," he said of his goal. Finally, Bellingham talked about his status after recovering from injury. "I feel very good. I have been working hard in the gym with the physio for the past few months... I am happy because I feel great and ready for the next games," he concluded.
