The Mavericks are asking for Gafford very high. If the Lakers continue to increase their stakes, it may be a little more worthwhile.

Mavericks center Gafford is one of the key goals of the Lakers' recruitment work this summer. Judging from the news that the Lakers' trading plan with Kneckett as the main body cannot make the Mavericks opposite the negotiating table cheer up, because the latter currently has a high asking price for Gafford.

But if the Lakers continue to increase their stakes and use Kneckett + Vincent + 1 first-round pick to quote Addford, this move may be a bit more worthwhile.

For the Lakers who are eager to strengthen the inside, Gafford's advantage is that it can be seamlessly connected with Doncic, and with his ability to eat cake, it is not a problem to add 2-3 assists to Doncic in each game.

But then again, Gafford is the inside with a single scoring ability after all. If Knector cannot make a single switch, I don't think the Lakers need to spend time on him.
