June 1: The Pacers defeated the Knicks 125-108 and entered the finals 4-2 with a big score. After the game, Pacers player Siakam was interviewed by the media.

Talking about winning the MVP in the East Finals, Siakam said: "I didn't know there was this trophy before, but I was very excited. I'm just a young man from Cameroon and gave everything for basketball."

Siakam played for 36 minutes and 8 seconds, made 10 of 18 shots (3 of 5 three-pointers), and 8 of 11 free throws, scoring the highest 31 points in the game, and also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks, tied for the team's highest +25.
