NBA announces the best rookie lineup: Castle becomes the only player selected for unanimous votes! The Spurs won

San Antonio Spurs defender Stephen Castle, the league's rookie of the year, is the only player to be unanimously selected into the rookie lineup.

Casel averaged 14.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, and he is the only player to win a team of all 100 members of the global sports journalist and broadcaster team that voted to determine most of the NBA's annual awards.

Best Rookie First Team

Atlanta's Zachary Rissacher (just one vote from the same position), Memphis teammates Jaylen Wells and Zach Eddie, and Washington's Alex Sal also joined his first team.

As a rookie, Castle played 80 games, leading all rookies in total (1190), shooting percentage (423) and steal percentage (74). His free throw percentage is more than 100 times higher than any other first-year player (249 times). He is the first rookie since Tim Duncan to rank in the top two in scoring and assists after the season.

Best Rookie II team

Secondary selected include Kyle Weill of Miami, Matas Bussellis of Chicago, Yves Missy of New Orleans, Donovan Krigan of Portland and Bab Carrington of Washington.

Eddie (73 first-team tickets, 27 second-team tickets) joined Cassel and Rissacher, becoming the only player to appear in all 100 votes. Wells won 99 votes, Saar won 96, and Weil won 94.

Utah's Isaiah Collier almost competed with Carrington for the last spot in the second team.
