Lakers celebrity talks about the Clippers signing: It s like a coach in the locker room and he can play basketball

August 16th News Lakers legendary star James Worthy recently talked about the Clippers' decision to introduce Chris Paul in an interview.

Worcey said: "All general managers and team owners will make decisions that they think are good for the team. Chris Paul is experienced and can still play, but more importantly, his role in the locker room is like an extra coach. So I understand this decision."

Paul joins the Clippers for a year of $3.6 million this summer. He joined the Los Angeles Clippers in 2011 and got married there, and his wife and children have been living in Los Angeles, so Paul needs to return to Los Angeles to reunite with his family. Previously, Paul said he would rather play in Los Angeles, which is convenient for him to go home here.

In the 2024-25 season, Paul averaged 8.8 points, 7.4 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game, and he maintained full attendance in 82 games of the regular season.
