Alexander talks about dealing with zone defense: They used this against us in the series with the Nuggets

Hupu News November 20th Today’s NBA regular season Thunder home game against the Kings has ended. At the end of the game, the Thunder defeated the Kings 113-99.

In this game, Thunder player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played 35 minutes and made 12 of 24 shots, including 1 of 3 three-pointers and 8 of 10 free throws. He scored 33 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

After the game, Alexander accepted an interview and talked about the response to zone defense.

"We ran into zone defenses a lot, especially in the series with the Nuggets. Naturally, when you face a team that uses zone defense as a weapon so often late in the season, that pressure forces us to grow in that area. We've definitely made progress and become a better team because of it, but it's definitely something we have to focus on and work on improving every day."
