3-point shooting percentage is 42.7%! Bucks GM: Renewing AJ-Green will be our top priority

July 19th, Bucks general manager Jon Horst was interviewed and talked about renewing AJ Green, who will become a free agent after the end of the 25-26 season.

"I contacted him the first day he was officially qualified to renew his contract," said Horst. "Although we did not have in-depth negotiation details, I clearly expressed the team's importance to him, trust and long-term cooperation. AJ is eager to stay here and is willing to seek solutions together. Of course, we also need to finalize specific contract terms. The whole season is our negotiation window. I hope it will be completed without waiting for that long. After this extremely busy offseason ends, renewing his contract with him will be the top priority we need to solve."

Last season, AJ Green played 73 games for the Bucks, averaging 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, and a three-point shooting percentage of 42.7%.
