Haaland scores 300 goals faster than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Ellyn Haaland scored two goals for Manchester City at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Ellyn Haaland scored his 300th career goal at the FIFA Club World Cup on Thursday, achieving that goal faster than many of his legendary peers.

Haland set the milestone in the 52nd minute with Manchester City’s 5-2 victory over Juventus at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, scoring the team’s third goal.

The Norwegian's shot this time was not convincing. After Mattus Nunez made a cross, the Norwegian scored from close range. The ball flew out from his left leg and then bounced into the empty door from his right leg behind him.

Nevertheless, the goal also helped Haaland score his 33rd goal for Manchester City this season. According to ESPN, the 24-year-old scored 300 goals in 370 games, faster than goals in his brilliant careers such as Killian Mbappe (409), Lionel Messi (418) and Cristiano Ronaldo (554).

"I can only say congratulations. I scored 300 goals at the age of 24. This is already very good, right?" Manchester City coach Guardiola said after the game.

"I'm happy for Ellin, he scored again and was involved in the offense in a short distance. It's really great."

Haland reached 300 goals faster than many opponents.

owned by Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden, Savigno and Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu helped City win 5-2 on Thursday's game.

This game is also an important moment for midfielder Rodri. He suffered an ACL torn last September and missed most of the seasons, his first start. The 2024 Golden Globes winner was replaced after playing for 65 minutes.

"He is the best player in the world," Guardiola said in an interview with The Guardian. "We miss him very much, it's obvious. I'm glad that he hopes he can help us a lot."

victory over Juventus means that Manchester City is ranked first in the Club World Cup group with three wins and will face Saudi Arabia's Hillal in Orlando on Tuesday to advance to the Top 16.
