BBC: Nkunku will cut salary and sign AC Milan for 5 years, Ghanacho s deal is close to completion
August 29th BBC's Chelsea team reporter Nizaar Kinsella reported that AC Milan has reached an agreement to sign Chelsea striker Nkunku (including additional terms). At the same time, Chelsea is expected to introduce Manchester United winger Garnacho. It is reported that in order to join AC Milan, 27-year-old Nkunku is expected to accept a salary cut and sign a five-year contract. He has been allowed to go to Milan for a medical examination. Chelsea also added a resale share clause to the deal. The transfer has a wider impact on Chelsea as negotiations to introduce Garnacho are making progress as a result. The two clubs have not reached an agreement on the transfer fee, but BBC Sports learned from sources that the relevant transaction is close to completion. Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Jackson is also negotiating to join Bayern on a preliminary loan, which may include a mandatory buyout clause. The sale of Nkunku means that Chelsea can make a profit in the transfer market. If additional terms are included, the funds raised by Chelsea through the sale of players are expected to reach £309 million, enough to balance the spending on players' introductions of about £277 million.
