Reposted from: People's Daily - Hunan Channel On the morning of July 22, the 6th "Qiaoxin Cup" Youth Football Invitational Tournament opened in Xiangjia Village, Yankou Town, Longhui County, Shaoyang City. 32 teams from home and abroad will compete for a 6-day competition on the Cloud Green Field. This event is themed "Overseas Heart Builds Dreams and Footworks Brightens the Future", and has implemented the "domestic + international" dual competition linkage for the first time, with the largest scale in history. Among them, the domestic competition is divided into two stages: grading and qualifying. A total of 24 U9 youth teams and 288 players in the country competed in the 7-a-side arena; the international competition invited U13 teams from six countries including Spain, Japan, Kenya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Vietnam to compete on the same stage with two domestic powerhouses in Beijing and Hunan, marking that the event is developing from a national brand event to an international event. At the opening ceremony of , programs with local characteristics were staged one after another, presenting a visual feast to the audience. The opening match of the international competition was held later, with the Hunan Youth Training Center football team against the Spanish Huesca International Team. Shaoyang Municipal Party Committee Secretary Yan Hua said that the "Qizhao Heart Cup" is not only a sports event, but also a link to promote exchanges between overseas Chinese and foreign countries. Shaoyang will insist on using the ball to build dreams, and regard the holding of the "Qiaoxin Cup" as an important means to promote the development of cultural and sports undertakings and industries. It will strive to build the "Young Village Super" brand and build an exchange platform for young football players. At the same time, we will adhere to the use of overseas Chinese to build bridges, actively carry out the "return to overseas Chinese capital, overseas Chinese intelligence and overseas Chinese technology" campaign, and build a bridge of communication and cooperation. "I hope Shaoyang will use the game as a medium to make Xiangjia Village's green field a window to showcase Hunan's style and a stage to bloom China's charm. I hope that the young players will make friends with the ball, gain growth and friendship, and feel the joy of football." Sun Minsheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said that he will work with all parties to serve as a good waiter and present a "simple, safe and wonderful" football event to everyone, so that the event will become a bright business card for uniting overseas Chinese and promoting Hunan, and contribute the strength of the overseas Chinese community to building a strong sports country.
