Official: Nottingham Forest signs goalkeeper Victor from Bottafogo, with a three-year contract

Victor played 39 games for Botafogo in the 2024/25 season and is considered one of the best goalkeepers in Brazil's A. He also participated in the Club World Cup with the team, played all the games, and helped the team break into the top 16. Last season, he just transferred to Botafogo from Santos and won the double championship in the league and the Liberators Cup with the team in his first season. Earlier, he played for Valladolid on loan at La Liga and accumulated experience in European arenas.

Now Victor will return to Europe and make his Premier League debut. The club said: "Victor's performance in Brazil has attracted many teams and we are happy that he chose Forest as the next step. He will join a strong group of goalkeepers and bring competition and improvement."
