"We have a short preparation time, so every game and every victory is important. We are working to get every opportunity to prepare for Saturday. It's not only to improve physical fitness, but also to get new players into the way they want to play as soon as possible and adapt to the way we want to play. This year's pre-season is better than last year because we already have a clearer understanding of how we play."

About the young players

"They have to be full of fighting spirit every minute of wearing Bayern jerseys. They have done that. I'm glad they have some great performances and hope to see more of such moments in the new season."
