Leicester City Official: Loan midfielder Aaron Ramsey from Burnley for one season
Hupu September 1st Leicester City officially announced that it has obtained a young attacking midfielder Aaron Ramsey on loan from Burnley. The loan period is for the 2025/26 season and requires league approval. The 22-year-old England player is from Aston Villa youth training camp and has previously played for two seasons at Burnley. Ramsey will play for Leicester City in the new season and will have a chance to make the appearance in the next round of the league against Oxford United. Ramsey said: "I am very happy to be playing for Leicester City this season. I know it is a club with a brilliant history and enthusiastic fans, and I look forward to showing my abilities under the Leicester jersey. I will train hard, learn from the players and coaching staff around me, and hope to help the team go further on the good start of the season." Ramsey won the FA Youth Cup with Aston Villa youth training team and made his first-team debut against Barrow in August 2021. In January 2022, he joined Cheltenham Town on loan, and then played 20 games at Norwich City on loan at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, and then accumulated experience in the Championship at Middlesbrough. In August 2023, Ramsey officially joined Burnley and is now on loan to Leicester City.
