October 29th, Manchester United legend Ferdinand talked about Liverpool’s decision to sell Luis Dias in the summer in a podcast and compared him to Gakpo.

How do you evaluate Liverpool’s sale of Luis Dias?

Do you think they found a better replacement? Like Gakpo?

I think Dias is a top player. The club allowed him to leave, did they replace him with someone better? Is Gakpo better? I would say no, no way.

Liverpool is currently experiencing difficulties. Do you think this is related to the new players?

They weren't functioning properly, they weren't playing well. The new players may have thrown the team off a little bit, affecting the style of play the coach was trying to implement.
