Weidenfeller: I have fought with Messi, Lewandowski and Higuain, but Ronaldo stands out

May 9th, former Dortmund goalkeeper Weidenfeller recently accepted an interview with the media. He said that after fighting with so many top forwards, Ronaldo stood out.

When asked about the most difficult opponent, Weidenfeller said: "C Ronaldo is elusive because of his never-ending professional spirit and strong confidence. I have played against him many times, both during Real Madrid and later in Juventus."

"I also played against Lewandowski. He was my Dortmund teammate before transferring to Bayern. He still maintains a top-notch form and recently won the championship with Barcelona."
