Real Madrid officially announces signing left-back Alvaro Carreras

After Real Madrid officially announced the signing of left-back Alvaro Carreras on July 14, Manchester United unexpectedly received a considerable transfer share.

The 22-year-old Spanish defender eventually joined the Galaxy Battleship for a price of up to £43 million, and the two sides signed a contract for six years. This also marks an important step in Carreras's career.

However, it is little known that Manchester United also got a share of the deal. According to the BBC, as Manchester United set a second transfer share clause when selling Carreras earlier, they will receive 20% of Benfica's transfer fee, about 8.6 million pounds.

In fact, this is not the first income that Manchester United unexpectedly earned this summer

Chelsea did not choose to buy out Sancho, Manchester United earned £5 million;

Anthony Ellanda transferred to Newcastle, Manchester United received £6 million;

Hannibal Mebrey helped Burnley to the Premier League, and Manchester United received an additional £50,000;

In addition, Marseille acquired part of Greenwood's ownership, which also brought £3.4 million to Manchester United.

As of now, these additional revenues have brought in more than £20 million inflows to Manchester United, providing more room for them to further operate in the transfer market this summer. Manchester United keeps eye on Brentford striker, but negotiations are blocked

According to the Daily Telegraph, Manchester United's top priority is Brentford striker Brian Mbeumo. The Red Devils have made two offers - a total price of £55 million plus a floating clause of £7.5 million, but both were rejected by the other party. Brentford insists on a transfer fee of no less than £70 million.

It is reported that Manchester United hopes to finalize the signing before the start of the pre-season tour to supplement the offensive line.
