May 27th Marcelo updated his social media to say goodbye to Vazquez, who is about to leave Real Madrid.

"You have been fighting for this white dress for many years, and it's great to share with you the locker room, training, journey, victory, failure and laughter that will never be forgotten. You have always been professional, willing to contribute and humble, and are a role model for everyone. You are always ready to give everything for this medal. You left Real Madrid, but left an indelible mark. Brother, I wish you all the best in the future. Football will continue, and so will friendship.
