Lewis: What makes me unique is that I can take into account both the midfield and the fullback. This year, the whole team is more thirsty

August 23rd News Rico Lewis was interviewed by the Post and talked about his position and the team's hunger.

Talking about being midfielder or fullback

Lewis: "It's all about timing, getting better when you're away from the ball. I think the opportunity is ripe. As you see on the weekend, that's where I'm driving.

"Obviously, you can't let everyone play midfield when you're away from the ball. What makes me unique is that I can take care of both. For me, the game time will help.

"Our structure is that everyone supports each other. Take last weekend for example, John fills the position, Nico backs back, and I end up back in the position. More of us being designed to maintain the offense, so we don't always defend the change, switch, switch."

Talking about the change in the atmosphere of the team

Lewis: "It has a lot to do with training, and when we come back, the new staff and coaches brought a different atmosphere.

"We all feel...not to make up for last season--apparently we all know that's not the level we want--but we all feel hungry.

"Now someone has added the Premier League (champion) next to the name, we are chasers rather than defenders. You can see that everyone is back with a bigger thirst."
