"This feeling is hard to describe. It is a great honor because it is the dream of many players, and it became my dream a few weeks ago. It made me extremely happy to be here."

For you, this is a special situation, you are familiar with this stadium, these fans, this club. What are you most looking forward to? Is there anything you particularly care about?

"First of all, I look forward to participating in the Club World Cup, which will definitely be a great event. This is the first game, so I am particularly looking forward to it. It will be a historic moment. I am also looking forward to the first Bundesliga match in Westphalia. The fan atmosphere of the South Stand made me fascinated. To be honest, I am full of these pictures now."

When you visited the stadium before, what memories did the South Stand leave you?

"It was deafening and full of endless energy. The dazzling colors, the flying flags, and the scarfs waving all over the sky. The sound never stopped. I have seen them in the away game, and the expeditionary army is always huge and amazing."

What have you experienced in the past few weeks?

"To be honest, the past three weeks are like dreams. There are too many highlight moments: for example, now signing with Dortmund, and of course there are the finals of the upgraded playoffs that the former boss participated in. Those games are of great significance to me, and it is very special to be able to end with victory. These are key battles, and we are very happy that we finally succeeded. Those games, and the decisions about my future, waiting for everything to settle, constitute this special time. You just mentioned that you were promoted to the Premier League with Sunderland. What was the reason for finally choosing Dortmund?

"To be honest, I did think deeply about it for a long time. It has nothing to do with the club itself, but it is about my emotional bond with Sunderland. I know the fans had some concerns, but I have fully weighed it. Because of this, I am sure that this is the right decision. I communicated with many members of the club, some of which are old acquaintances. Of course, the head coach also includes the head coach, and we trust each other. Dort is about to go to the United States to participate in the Club World Cup. How important is it to you to report to participate in this event in time?

"I know the club has always planned to let me participate because this is the first Club World Cup and it is also an excellent opportunity to integrate into the team. I have to work hard to grasp it.
