August 17 Brentford officially updated social media updates to mourn former club chairman Dan Tana. Former Brentford chairman Dan Tarner passed away at the age of 90. Brentford social media published a mourning message: "We are deeply saddened to learn about the death of the highly respected and far-reaching former chairman and director Dan Tarner. He is better known as the Hollywood restaurant owner and a friend of some world-renowned movie stars, but he has served on our board of directors for nearly 30 years and served as the club chairman.
