Brentford social media published a mourning message: "We are deeply saddened to learn about the death of the highly respected and far-reaching former chairman and director Dan Tarner. He is better known as the Hollywood restaurant owner and a friend of some world-renowned movie stars, but he has served on our board of directors for nearly 30 years and served as the club chairman.
