Bayern Director: Pavlovic recovers very well and is expected to return soon

Hupu, August 17th, Bayern Munich's Alexander Pavlovic seems to be returning soon.

"Alex looks good. There is some swelling after the surgery that needs treatment, but he looks good now and we hope he can partially resume training next week," said Bayern Munich sports director Christoph Froinder after Beckenbauer's 2-1 Super Cup victory over Stuttgart. "So, things will be going very quickly."

Pavlovic broke his eye socket during training in early August and had to undergo surgery. On Thursday, Bayern Munich Club released photos of the German international training on Seberna. It is unclear whether Pavlovic will be able to play the opening game of the new Bundesliga season against RB Leipzig next Friday.

For the victory of the game, Freund said: "It's special. We know that we have to have a good start in such a short preparation time, and I think it's almost the best we can achieve in such a short preparation time."

So, the Austrian said it felt "good" to start the new season with a championship." Freund added that they now hope to continue to "go to the fullest" and "maintain the efforts based on the achievements made last year."
