2025 China University Futsal League One (Men’s Southern District) opens in Huzhou

A few days ago, the 2025 China University Futsal League One (Men’s Southern District) kicked off at the Huzhou Gymnasium.

This event is hosted by the China Student Sports Federation and hosted by the Huzhou Sports Bureau. 24 teams from national universities, including Donghua University and Wuhan University, are participating.

The opening match of the tournament will be between Beijing Institute of Technology and Hubei University. In the first half of the game, Hubei University made many achievements. The team led Beijing Institute of Technology into the halftime break with three goals scored by Guan Chuanle, Tian Jian and Liu Shike from the 15th to 19th minutes. After changing sides, Hubei University deliberately controlled the rhythm of the game. Both sides exchanged offense and defense. Tian Jian and Liu Shike scored twice in the 32nd and 39th minutes respectively. Until the final whistle, Beijing Institute of Technology still failed to score. In the end, Hubei University defeated its opponent 5-0.

The project director of the China Student Sports Federation said that futsal is both competitive and ornamental. In recent years, the project's attention, popularity, and number of participants have increased among teenagers and college students. "As the official benchmark event of domestic college futsal, Huzhou has hosted the competition for the third consecutive year. The event provides college students with a showcase for their sportsmanship, and also provides colleges and universities with a practice field to deepen the integration of physical education."
